Why Save the Tudor Creek Project
Youth Champions from the Organization have started a project Dubbed  SAVE THE CREEK that intend to use fashion as a tool to create awareness to the community on the need to conserve this beautiful Eco system and also push the policy maker and stakeholder involved to help change the situation.According  to Big Ship CBO a community based organization working on Creek more work needs to be done to bring back the lost glory of the Creek.

Economic Benefit of the Mangrove 
The Mangrove is an essential source of food for thousand of communities living along the creek and if utilize well  then it can provide a good food base  for the youths.
The forest act as  nursery for many juvenile fish species including the Coral Reefs
Mangrove  have ability to grow where no tree can
It preserve water quality and reduce pollution by filtering suspended materials  and assimilating dissolved nutrients.
Protect the shoreline from erosion
they create  a breeding habitat
and also one of the best area to do bee keeping is in the mangrove forest


What is happening [situation]
More than 70% of the forest in the creek has been Cut down hence making it less efficient with all its benefits.
Less fishing activity is happening along the creek and hence forcing the communities around to still export the  fish from other area .
Under Utilization  of the Eco  Tourism in the area  that the youth can use  to create more jobs to themselves and help the Government in reducing unemployment rate in the area


What can be done 
We need development partners to work closely with communities around to help reclaim the lost glory of the Tudor creek for this would have a great impact  to the communities around and also help the government in the sustainable development goals agenda.
We work  closely with the community around to show them the need to help conserve this Creek
Start an Eco Tourism Project in the area to attract local and international Tourist .
Increase the awareness Campaign   with all stakeholder  getting involved in the work from state and non state actors.
