Change is an important aspect of one's life and thus it is inevitable in every way. Accepting change builds the inner personality of an individual and encourages proper ethical association with the environment. To change implies for one to be able to assess themselves and be able to identify means of how to cope up with the state at hand when experienced.

Δ “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” ...Δ

Change can occur willingly or through the forces of nature. And when this comes to be, one has to be fully prepared mentally, physically, emotionally, and even psychologically on how to maneuver through it without losing out to their moral values. Change involves an individual’s critical thinking and at most proper decision-making skills for one to be able to relate appropriately with such circumstances when need be. And the greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing their attitude.

Members of the marginalized community of Bangladesh and its environs were invited for a two-day course on the Changemakers training to be assessed and taken through the agents of change processes to effectively be able to create mass awareness on the daily life state within our communities. Youth champions and peer educators turned up for the training and were ready to work out on the process to its productivity.

The Changemaking Program was to be initiated in the schools within to create a sustainable space for the growing generation. The program adopts other engagements that involve the facilitation of life skills in our day-to-day activities. Pwani Youth Network alongside The Segal Family Foundation and African Philanthropy Network worked hand in hand to see best the aspect of change within the champions and peer educators present for the training.

The activity could not leave the fun part behind as too much work without fun for sure makes Jack a dull person. The process would use sporting engagements to raise awareness amongst the school-going children to maximize to its full capacity the change-making theme. Fun activities in between tasks were key in brainstorming for a productive engagement towards the end goal of change-making when associating with participants at the grass-root level.

At the end of the two-day training, the youth participants were equipped fully with information and techniques on how to handle and coordinate perfectly with their participants for healthy discussions. An aspect of behavioral and mindset change could be foreseen in the youths compared to their initial state. When change is embraced positively, intrapersonal and interpersonal engagement is expected to be of importance and beneficial for those involved.

And all left now was for the youths to explore their capabilities in associating with the adolescents as Changemakers in the community. The aftermath productivity of the training would be evident from the expected change to be experienced in the society once the program kicked off in the respective assigned schools.
